Come to today’s Queer Asians Getting Political, learn about legislation and politics that affect the Queer Asian community! Guest speakers from API Equality Northern California, and APIQWTC (Asian Pacific Islander Queer Transgender Community) will be also be in attendance. Remember, it is fine if you come late or leave early, the community just wants to see your smiling faces! We meet 4:30-6pm on Thursdays in Mod B (LGBTRC). :)

Hosted by: APIQWTC / Trikone / GAPA Noon - 5pmSat, September 24th, 2011 Speedway Meadow @ Golden Gate Park (spots #13 - #16)San Francisco, CA  An outdoor day of fun for Queer APIs and their friends!!!It’s free! It’s for Women &[/or] Men! It’s for Everyone! Co-sponsoring with GAPA and Trikone, APIQWTC is excited to celebrate yet another wonderful summer in the Golden Gate Park. This is the one and only annual API queer [multi]-gender BBQ & sports event.  And this year, it’s going to be bigger than ever. :-) Families/kids welcome, pets on leash welcome!  Feel free to bring friends and others to come celebrate together with APIQWTC, Trikone, and GAPA! We will have games and sports ranging from volleyball and soccer to a balloon toss, limbo contest, and random silly fun!  BBQ and soft drinks provided, feel free to bring a snack, dish, or beer/wine (no kegs though).  Come enjoy a beautiful park and a fun outdoor event - see you there!We have 4 picnic tables on the south side of the meadow, #13,14,15, and 16, with two grills.
