Hey Q&A members!
Alas, we are in the 21st Century, and we are still combating homophobic judgments, and probably will for a long time if we don’t step up as much as we can (comfortably), and the judgmental approach doesn’t even stop within the community. There is such thing called Transphobia,
Transphobia: The fear or hatred of transgender people or people who are percieved as not meeting society’s expectation around gender roles, identities, and presentations. Transphobia is closely linked with homophobia and biphobia.
Biphobia: is a term used to describe aversion felt toward bisexuality and bisexuals as a social group or as individuals. People of any sexual orientation can experience such feelings of aversion. A source of discrimination against bisexuals, biphobia is based on negative bisexual stereotypes and bisexual erasure.
which is depicted in the photo above. This graphically shoes in great detail about all the different ways transphobia is spread. So take a good look at it, and see what you may or may not have been doing to support Trans-awareness, for yourself and others.
